40 years - 40 natural reserves – Lamert Hellekaul
Between Schengen and Wintrange, in the Natura 2000 area "upper moselle", the foundation owns 6 ha of dry meadows where biodiversity is very high.
Not far from the Moselle, in the commune of Schengen, between Schengen and Wintrange, in the Natura 2000 area "upper moselle", the foundation owns 6 ha in total, spread over two sites. This reserves used to straddle two local government areas which have now merged. One of the sites is called Hëllekaul, the other is over in what used to be Elvange and goes by the name Lamert. We can find gromwell, and a range of orchids. WE have typical meadow plants like the meadow sage.
