The 62.70 hectares Ramescher reserve, located between Troine and Wincrange, covers the watershed of the "Ramescherbaach", a small tributary of the "Trëtterbaach

The nature reserve "Ramescher", situated east of the locality of Troine and north of Wincrange, extends over the watershed of the "Ramescherbaach", a small tributary of the "Trëtterbaach" and their confluence. This protected area of national interest was designated on February 11, 1993 as the first nature reserve of the Oesling. With 62.70 ha, it consists of a core area of 11.40 ha and a buffer zone of 51.30 ha. The Hëllef fir d'Natur Foundation manages an area of 10 hectares and also owns other important areas adjacent to the designated nature reserve.
