40 years - 40 natural reserves – Buregrond

At the foot of this narrow valley, the Buregrond lies below the castle of Bourscheid. Rich in biodiversity, several species of orchids can be found here.

With its steep slopes to the north and south and the course of the "Burebaach" at the foot of this narrow valley, the "Buregrond" nature reserve lies below the castle of Bourscheid. This meadow is rich in biodiversity and several species of orchids can be found on this meadow. It is assumed that the reserve was once part of the castle and the land of the lords. The Foundation Hëllef fir d'Natur owns 5,38 ha here.
