The Fondation Hëllef fir d’Natur owns around 15 ha of land in the municipality of Mamer. 
 
Together with the local group from natur&ëmwelt, a lot has been accomplished here for biodiversity as the nature reserve has gradually been expanded and more and more areas were upgraded and renaturalized.Ponds as well as an orchard with 80 fruit trees were created in the Drumeschbësch reserve. The Bommertsheck offers an important compensation to the infrastructure and constitutes a sanctuary for birds and also attracts various other species, such as butterflies, due to our conservation measures. You can explore these areas either on foot or by participating in Mamer’s local group.
