40 years - 40 natural reserves – Cornelysmillen
The Cornelysmillen nature reserve in the municipality of Troisvierges is a true paradise for Luxembourg’s fauna and flora.
The large Natura 2000 area, of which the Foundation Hëllef fir d’Natur owns 72ha, represents a significant wetland in our country with wet meadows, streams, ponds, coniferous and riparian forests. Rare plants such as cottongrass and bistort can be found here and in addition to all kinds of insects, amphibians too feel right at home here.Ornithologists get their money’s worth due to the rich bird diversity and the ponds that have been created have attracted the beaver, who has become the head architect of this nature reserve.
