Emina Helena
Berlin-based Electronic Music Producer, DJ, Singer-Songwriter, Piano Composer & Audio Engineer who began her musical voyage of artistic discovery from an early age.
A pianist from childhood on, she advanced as a classical piano composer, self-teaching in guitar and performed for many years as a singer-songwriter throughout her teenage years and adolescence.
Making her foray into electronic music during her studies, she acquired several DJ residencies along the way and deeply delved into the art of electronic music production. Soon after graduating with her Masters, she fully devoted herself to her growing music career, ultimately landing in Berlin where she established herself as a Full-time Music Producer, DJ and Audio Engineer.
Frequently incorporating her own productions in her DJ sets, Emina’s deep-seated musical caliber transcends the nightlife scene with an enticing sound signature. Drawing inspiration from a multitude of electronic sub-genres ranging from Acid, Industrial, Left-field Techno, Deep Tech, South-Eastern European “Rominimal” and Melodic & Minimal House, her DJ sets are predominantly characterised by deep, driving and groovy bass-lines, propulsive (poly)rhythmic structures, hypnotic soundscapes and melodic textures, topped with a liberal dose of the unexpected, aimed to “Seduce body, mind and soul into an elevated state of sensory sound indulgence.”
While continuing to frequently appear as a DJ and live-performer, Emina spends a large part of her time hunkered down in her studio in Berlin, expanding her production and sound engineering skills whilst progressively unravelling and cultivating her creative spirit through her idea of a “musical multiverse”. With her multifaceted background in music, her productions manifest in diverse directions, ranging from various Electronic Genres to more Downtempo, Ambient, and Singer-songwriter genres.
With many tracks scheduled to see the light of day throughout 2022, she is currently also devising an integrative, Audio-visual, multi-instrumental, Electronic Live set, aiming to encompass all of her musical directions and means of sound expression into one fulfilling comprehensive music journey.
