Born in Morocco and now residing in Luxembourg since 2009, Basstof started to DJ at the beginning of the 90's.
His career began where he worked as a DJ for holiday clubs such as Club Med, Valtur and Accord Coralia, travelling between his native country, to Tunisia and Egypt. He moved to Milan in 2003, where he had the chance to share his talents with huge crowds in many of the clubs that were on offer.
With his career stretching back almost 30 years, Basstofs sound is deeply inspired by the Middle East and Africa, separated by eclectic grooves and led by House Music inspired rhythms.
