2023: While Alex waits for the DVD, Hanne Lay learns of his connection to Frank and explains the background to him. Killers break in, but Frank and Ivo save Alex. Ivo dies on the run and Alex realises that his father is alive.

The series tells the story of Alex, a young man who seeks to uncover the truth about the death of his father, a Bundeswehr sniper, and in doing so becomes entangled in a dangerous political conspiracy.
