Ahead of the release of their third studio album, Human Assholes (out 4 September), frontman Willem Smit talked language, cooperation, and the Dutch scene.

Willem's Dutch, and yet finds it most natural to sing in English. And in the process of making music, he's woven something of a web within the Dutch indie scene, bringing together tons of talented artists both within Personal Trainer and the wider world of Dutch indie music.
