The Algorhythm: The Lemon Twigs
If you like 60's retro revival (or just retro sounds in general), you'll want to check out all the bands recommended in this episode of the Algohythm.
The Lemon Twigs specialise in an almost indistinguishable sound. Despite being a contemporary, 2020s group, brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario sound like they've time-traveled straight from the 1960's.
If you like this sort of musical revivalism (or just 60's music in general), here's a few more bands/songs that you would probably like, too. This one's a healthy mix of contemporary bands and classic stuff to boot!
PLAYLIST:
The Lemon Twigs - 2 or 3
Tchotchke - Poor Girl
Foxygen - Follow the Leader
Raspberries- Go All The Way
Herman's Hermits - No Milk Today
The Lemon Twigs - I Just Can't Get Over Losing You
Mind you, the Lemon Twigs ARE coming to Luxembourg, playing den Atelier on Saturday, 10 October – just in case you've suddenly developed a taste for 60's Beatles-y, Beach Boy-ish jingle jangle.
