Ben Welter is a member of Letz Pickleball, an association formed a little over a year ago to promote the sport in the Grand Duchy. Under the leadership of Benoit Quisquater, the association has introduced the sport to more than 400 people, established weekly playing sessions at two tennis clubs and earned membership in the Luxembourg tennis federation. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America, it was established in 1965 by 3 fathers trying to entertain their children and is a combination of tennis, ping pong and badminton.
