Donato Rotunno discusses new film 'Blanquita'

Founder and CEO at Tarantula Distributions joined me on the show again, this time to discuss the release of 'Blanquita' which hist cinemas in Luxembourg on February 15th. It tells the story of Blanca who lives in a foster home for minors run by Father Manuel. A sexual scandal involving businessmen and politicians puts Blanca and Manuel in the eye of the press, turning Blanca into a feminist martyr and key witness of the case. Yet, the more questions are asked, the less clear it becomes what Blanca’s role in the scandal exactly is.
'Blanquita' is set in Chile and written and directed by Fernando Guzzoni, the film was co-produced by Rampante Films (Chile), Tarantula (Luxembourg) Bonne Pioche, (France) and Madants (Poland) and it won the prize for best screenplay at the Venice International Film Festival in September 2022.
