Esther Leick is the Director of Communication and Fundraising Director at MSF Luxembourg since January 2020. MSF was established in 1967 with the Luxembourg section created in 1986. Today, 35 employees work within the association to raise awareness among the Luxembourg population of humanitarian issues, collect the funds needed to finance interventions, supervise MSF volunteers who leave for the field and carry out dozens of operational research projects directly related to operations in order to make them ever more effective. The Luxembourg section is also unique in that it puts its expertise into the development of medical research in the field thanks to the skills of the operational research unit called LuxOR (Luxembourg Operational Research).
