We were joined by Chief Communication Paul Heber and two Unicef Youth Ambassadors Joy and Franklin. The Youth Ambassadors are aged 14 to 19 and make a huge impact on advocating for the rights of children and young people here in Luxembourg and worldwide. 2023 is a particularly important year with two elections happening here in the Grand Duchy so recently they met with politicians to voice concerns of young people specifically around the environment, mental health, education and violence in society. Joy and Franklin also mention how it has benefited their confidence, their public speaking and how they enjoy inspiring other young people to be politically aware.
