Catherine Kontz is a Luxembourgish composer and the new artistic leader of the beloved Rainy Days Festival at the Philharmonie which returns once again from November 16th to 19th. This years edition centers around the theme of “memory”: how we process sound; how we associate music with specific events, people, places and time and how a single sound can instantly bring back memories. Over 30 events will feature at the festival with composers and performers invited from as far as Australia, Japan, Canada, the US and the four corners of Europe and of course Luxembourg.
