Nakisa Kendall from Solina Solidarité Jeunes’ Service IMPULS joined us in studio to tell us about the only addiction counselling service for youth in Luxembourg. They provide free psychosocial and therapeutic support to young people aged 13-21, their families, and institutions/organisations involved when they are facing issues related to the use of legal or illegal substances. Nakisa encouraged young people and their loved ones to get in touch as soon as they notice addiction could become an issue as often the earlier the intervention the better. We also discussed some trends they are noticing with young people including increased problems around the use of vapes and snoos.
