Laure Schreiner is a Luxembourgish actress and playwright, known for her original one-woman shows 'D’Alice am Verwonnerland' and her new monodrama which explores the life of 'Frankenstein' author Mary Shelley. In the play Laure plays many characters including other prolific figures in Shelley's life such as Lord Byron and Percy Shelley. The play is an ode to this fearless author, a tribute to the woman behind the monster and the myth. It interlaces fragments of Mary’s own writing with the words of other distinguished poets, crafting a lyrical tapestry that echoes Frankenstein’s own stitched-together creation and demonstrating that even centuries-old literary voices can still echo powerfully within us. It will be performed on Feb 4th 2026 at Opderschmelz and March 6th 2026 at Cube521.
