Voices International Conductor and Artistic Director James Libbey has seen the choir evolve from just 38 singers in 2018 to 197 singers in 2026. The choirs expansion could be down to the fact that participants do not need to audition or be a 'good' singer, or because they represent 47 nationalities and sing songs from around the world, or because as James explains singing together is a joyful experience. VI held four sold out concerts at Christmas and has sung twice at the Philharmonie's prestigious Grand Auditorium, previously singing in the Chamber Hall. The move to the big hall is due to both the size and popularity of the choir. This spring they will perform at the Philharmonie, in March and and June.
