Luxembourg band ROME bring music & supplies to Ukraine
The band are set to play a fundraising show in Kyiv on Saturday Feb 18th which will be live streamed.
Borys Bilan has been running supplies and retrieving refugees to & from Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict almost a year ago. He's also a member of the band ROME. Jerome Reuter, founder and frontman of the band had played a number of shows in Ukraine just days before the invasion last February and was already back to do a solo show, with Borys' help, in July. Now, marking a year since those last shows and a year since the beginning of the war, Rome are returning to pay a number of shows and to help to raise spirits and much needed funds for those most in need.
Their show in Kyiv will be streamed on YouTube with PayPal links to contribute with funds going to, among others, homeless shelters, dog shelters, supplies for civilians still in Bakhmut and a children's table-tennis club in Kyiv doing everything they can to provide an outlet and distraction for kids in this terrifying situation.
