As The Lumineers gear up for their world tour, Jeremiah Fraites is enjoying a quiet moment at home in Italy. “It feels like the calm before the storm,” he says, before they hit the road across Europe, the U.S., and beyond, in support of their fifth album Automatic. Ahead of their May 6 show at Rockhal, he sat down with Today Radio's Sam Steen to talk about the heart of the new record and how the band keeps their creative and personal relationship intact after two decades.
