A catastrophic situation is an ongoing nightmare with food insecurity at its highest level.

There are currently 116K tons of pre-positioned food waiting to be let in at the border. If they can even get Israel to let it in, the issue will then become the crucial 6 to 8 weeks which follows for children who will need medical treatment. The international community needs to act today by putting pressure on both sides.

Unicef cannot cover it all and more than 1 million children are the ones who are suffering the most. As always money is needed to help fund this human disaster which has now developed into a hunger crisis.
