Sunday 25 May will mark the closing day of the annual Octave. A group of 68 US Americans with some form of Luxembourg ties or affiliations will travel to the Grand Duchy on Thursday to witness the closing procession.

Spokesperson for the group is Kevin Wester, cousin of Luxembourg's Cardinal Hollerich who joined the show along with Marc Zimer.

In the past, Luxembourg-Americans have donated banners for the Octave procession. The first was from 1892, then 1966, and now Luxembourg artist Jacques Schneider has been commissioned to design a new banner which the group will premiere at the closing procession of the 400th Jubilee Octave on Sunday.

The new banner will also be blessed at the 138th American Luxembourg Mass with Cardinal Hollerich at the Glacis Chapel on Saturday, 24 May, at 10am.
