Rugby Club Luxembourg: Ladies Day, a celebration of women's rugby

This Saturday from 10am to 1pm at RCL Rugby Club, Stade Boy Konen in Cessange
Women’s and girls’ rugby is the fastest-growing area of the sport worldwide, with participation and viewership climbing at an impressive pace. Chris Gill stopped by to chat on The Sam Steen Show about the main event taking place on Saturday.
Open to women and girls of all ages and experience levels, Rugby Club Luxembourg will host its fourth annual Ladies Day, featuring both touch and contact rugby. The event provides a platform for women of all ages and skill levels to come together, learn, and compete in the spirit of rugby.
Beginning with a warm up at 10am, the event will continue until 1pm and there will, of course, be food and drinks on offer. Join other women and girls in breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and celebrating the strength and resilience of women in rugby. The event is free and there is no need to register but for more information: https://girlz.rcl.lu/
The sport’s momentum is clear in the current Women’s Six Nations, where England face Wales on Saturday at 3:15, followed by Italy vs Scotland at 5:30.
