Presented as the opening concert of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026, Réaltbhuíonta forms part of Cultúr 2026, a programme celebrating the richness and diversity of Irish arts across Europe. Curated by the Centre Culturel Irlandais (Paris), it brings together leading musicians, dancers, and artists to reflect a living culture shaped by creativity, collaboration, and exchange. Taking its name from the Irish for “a band of stars,” the concert unfolds through a series of musical encounters, with artists performing in shifting combinations. Rooted in Irish tradition yet open to global influences, and enriched by dance and spoken word, Réaltbhuíonta offers a dynamic expression of Ireland’s contemporary cultural voice.
