Where does it hurt? (14) - pharmacists

As pharmacists, we have two main responsibilities. One task is more logistical in nature, while the other is more clinical.

We are responsible for the entire journey of the pharmaceutical, from the time it arrives at the hospital, is stored in the pharmacy, is brought up to the ward, right up until the moment it is given to the patient. As for the clinical side, this requires a much closer cooperation with nurses and doctors. We advise them about the medication, how it should be administered, we keep an eye on any interactions, dose adjustments… So, we really have an important role to play.
