40 years - 40 natural reserves – Conzefenn

Conzefenn covers more than 135 ha, of which 13.92 ha are owned by the Foundation. There are wet meadows and forests along the streams Fennbaach and Kailsbaach

The Natura 2000 protected area "Conzefenn" extends over 135 ha between the municipalities of Troisvierges and Weiswampach. One finds here a mosaic of different wet meadows and forest stands along the watercourses "Fennbaach" and "Kailsbaach", which also feed the artificial lakes of Weiswampach. The very name of the place suggests this habitat, since a Fenn is a marshy or even boggy area. 13.92 hectares of the area are owned by natur&ëmwelt Fondation Hellef fir d'Natur, of which 7.2 hectares lie in the middle of the core area of the protected area, which has also been designated as a priority national area since 2008.
