40 years - 40 natural reserves – Lannebuer

In the municipality Weiler-la-Tour, a large Natura 2000 protected area stretches alongside the Briedemsbach,

where the Fondation Hëllef fir d’Natur plays an active role in its conservation. In recent years, new bodies of water have been created, which are not only interesting for various plant species and insects, but also represent a magnet for migratory birds. A total of 40 species that feature on the Red List can be found here, including the snipe and the lapwing.
