40 years - 40 natural reserves – Schwaerzerbaach

One of the country’s cleanest streams can be found in the municipality of Rambrouch.

The Schwaerzerbaach, an affluent of the Sûre that is 4 km long, together with the species-rich area around it represents a mosaic of landscapes that is also part of the Natura 2000 network. The Fondation Hëllef fir d’Natur owns 23ha here and works hand in hand with the local farmer to preserve the biodiversity and the landscape around the Schwaerzerbaach, a peaceful place that the black stork too calls its home.
