40 years - 40 natural reserves – Groheck

The « Groheck » in the municipality of Biwer is, with 3.5 ha, one of the Fondation Hëllef fir d’Natur’s smaller nature reserves, but one that has a lot to offer

A for biodiversity important sucession forest has grown from the former vienyards and limestone quarries and offers a retreat for a great many bird species, including the pied flycatcher and the black woodpecker. 4 species of orchids as well as the elusive wild cat are also found in the reserve.
