2023: Alex is rescued by Ivo Rebic but flees again. Meanwhile, a BKA investigator discovers links to Frank's case and informs Hanne. Finally, Frank, who was thought to be dead, turns up unexpectedly.

The series tells the story of Alex, a young man who seeks to uncover the truth about the death of his father, a Bundeswehr sniper, and in doing so becomes entangled in a dangerous political conspiracy.
