Reviews this week included a three-star verdict for The Mandalorian and Grogu, praised for its spectacle but criticised for feeling a little too familiar, and a four-star recommendation for Apple TV+'s gloriously chaotic thriller Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, led by a terrific performance from Tatiana Maslany.
Gaming fans were treated to updates from Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Showcase, including news of Guild Wars 3, Alien Isolation 2, Fable and Persona 4: Revival.
We also looked at Studio MDHR's plans to expand the Cuphead universe and discussed Crossfire, an exciting new shooter from former Naughty Dog and Bungie developers.
