At Kinepolis, Spider-Man: Brand New Day hangs onto number one ahead of The Odyssey, while Practical Magic 2 arrives with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
We also preview Villeneuve's Dune: Part Three and the new Sense and Sensibility, before movie news brings Anya Taylor-Joy attempting to sacrifice Chris Evans, Saoirse Ronan adopting some highly questionable classroom-management techniques in Bad Apples, and Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet heading out on a 30th-anniversary concert tour.
Reviews bring mixed fortunes for things lurking in the dark. Zach Cregger's Resident Evil earns three stars: inventive, nasty and arguably the strongest game-to-film outing the franchise has managed, although zombie fatigue is becoming harder to outrun.
Apple TV's Emmy-winning oddity Widow's Bay gets four stars, rewarding its slow start with a wonderfully peculiar mixture of small-town mystery, black comedy and increasingly Lovecraftian horror.
Elsewhere, Philomena Cunk takes on cinema, Celebrity Traitors prepares another collection of famous people to accuse each other of murder, and Reacher favourite Neagley gets her own series.
Gaming brings Wolverine, Netflix raiding Sega for Sonic, Crazy Taxi and Stranger Than Heaven, and GTA VI assembling a soundtrack featuring Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. And, somehow... Keith Richards.
Add Show Tunes, the Kinepolis chart and Anthony Hopkins terrifying his way to an Oscar with barely 16 minutes of screen time, and that's another perfectly sensible hour of entertainment.
