Anne Dahm has been a midwife since 1998, she worked at CHL Hospital for 22 years and has been an independent midwife since 2013. In September 2022 Anne and her colleague Danielle Federspiel set up Luxembourg's first birthing center Lunata in Bertrange. It is a cosy place located close to CHL which offers prenatal & postnatal courses, prenatal massages, baby-wearing course, postnatal re-education, osteopathic treatment and psychological treatment. The center also offered and carried out births at Lunata until the end of 2022 when the Health Ministry asked them to stop the practice due to some grey zones on this topic. Despite this, Lunata is still offering their other services to lots of women and they hope to create awareness that there are limited options on where you can deliver in Luxembourg.
