This is perhaps one of the most interesting and rewarding interviews I have had the pleasure of being involved with. As a fan of Ólafur Arnalds, I was delighted to be given a chance to speak with the exceptionally talented musician… as someone who finds his multi-layered compositions incredibly moving, it was disarming to discover how quickly we formed a rapport and it was heart-warming to hear Ole speak with such candor on honesty relating to his successes and failures – even if it does sound like The Purge is kicking off in his Iceland home studio….
