I’ll be honest, this interview is one I’ve been chasing for a while, as a fan of Nova Twins debut record Who Are The Girls?, I was delighted when Amy Love and Georgia South agreed to do a zoom ahead of their show at Rockhal in March of next year. Why, then, the need to do one now? Quite simply Nova Twins are about to go fucking massive, their blend of punk, metal and pop is stadium-sized and just before they head out for a stint in the US and Canada, now was as good a time as any to find out how they are coping with things… we talk Maltesers and Popcorn, we cover inclusion and diversity and both Amy and Georgia are at pains to make clear, yes there have been times of struggle BUT they are reaping the benefits of hard work, tenacity and perseverance - this is part one of a two part series.
