This is part two of my chat with Marc and Andrew from Nashville, Tennessee band Hammock, following on from the release of the mesmerizing new record Love In The Void. We talk here about the most common misconceptions that surround post-rock, as a genre... Not least due to the fact that Hammock don’t really see themselves as post-rock per-se. Though they were listening to a lot of it, back in the day, just without really knowing that that was what it was. We look into sincerity requiring grounding in emotion to make it real and we chew the cud on some of the great acts working out there today.
