Rat Saw God, the fantastic new record from Wednesday came out just about a week ago, and shortly before said release, I got a chance to speak with founding member and songwriter Karly Hartzman. In this first of two pieces we cover what it is like to be in a band that has been forever tagged with the next big thing label, how a certain Netflix show has meant the burying of some choice words in interviews on the internet. Karly informs us that she is definitely more at home on stage and that her not-so-perfect themselves parents remain a primary inspiration for all that has been and that which will be.
