In this first part of a two-piece conversation, I got to talk to the wonderfully talented Durand Jones. We speak on how an awkward, and somewhat depressed teenager, blossomed into one of the most exciting soul singers currently operating in the world today. We talk about the need to receive and spread love at a time when many of us are in desperate need of it and chat about Durand’s time with Indications, as his solo LP, Wait Till I Get Over gains critical acclaim…..and all of this while Mr. Jones is suave as hell, decked out as he is, resplendent in a mighty fine kimono.
