Hot off of going viral on TikTok, Bad Omens are enjoying a bit of a golden run right now. We catch up with Joakim Karlsson aka Jolly, and very well known as Bad Omens' bad-ass guitar player. We find out early on that Jolly is not one for pinball, nor for wasting time on genre discussions. Jolly is relaxed, kind and fiercely driven, it is what the band want first, then the fans and then the label. Bad Omens see visuals as being just as important as - but not at the expense of the music - and best served with a narrative running through rather than the band just playing in an apartment or on another planet, for example. 2024 will continue to be promo of the massive smash LP The Death Of Peace Mind, which Jolly says of the title is about how there is little time to truly rest these days.
