The Lunchbox: Steve Castille - LSC interview

“It’s a competition, sure — but we genuinely support each other, and that’s what makes it special.”
RTL Today Radio welcomed Steve Castile, one of Luxembourg’s Eurovision Song Contest hopefuls, to discuss his entry Sweet Tooth and his journey through the national selection and Steps caught up with the Sweet Tooth singer to chat about all things LSC.
Castile states that he stumbled into the competition via a songwriting camp, where he developed his track collaboratively but shaped entirely around his vocal range and strengths.
He speaks about growing more confident as a performer over the years, the meaning behind his song, a metaphor about being drawn to someone who isn’t good for you, and the supportive, non-toxic atmosphere among this year’s contestants despite the competitive stakes.
Castile also joked about his now-signature bandana before introducing his track, expressing gratitude and excitement as he heads into the final stages of the Luxembourg Song Contest.
