What is the acute problem that brought you to the emergency room today?

We are quite versatile here in the emergency department. We have to be since we see people with all kinds of pathologies here, including car accidents and heart attacks. These pathologies are, of course, treated here according to protocols and pathways that everyone here, from secretaries to doctors, knows by heart. They are then passed on. When our work here in the emergency rooms is done, they are transferred to a specialist.
