In the second part of my chat with Sofia and Leanne of GENN, we hear why and how GENN are prepared to put forward their world views, but not at the expense of the music or message and certainly not as a response to the patriarchy. Recorded in lockdown and mostly done so remotely, the EP Liminal is both a step on from their previous output and a marker laid down for what fans, new and old, can expect from future releases. 2023 is about getting out there, gigging and promoting the band before a proper LP is released.
